Have also lots of small movies. :) The idea is that I actually didnt feel like taking pics. It would have meant a waste of time from focusing on my friends, and the heat, and the smells, and the food, and the air... :) And yes, I know North is a must. I'm least interested in visiting the 'tourist destinations'. Give me a camera and leave me with the locals to explore the streets, that's what I love.
I can't imagine NOT taking pictures though. :)
Anyway, I am really glad you liked the city. I have been to Mumbai only once and it indeed is a worth visit city.
But next time you are in india, a trip up North is a must.Tanyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05290567688543690725noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6064639723767772552.post-11765591941289943312012-01-28T11:57:34.938-08:002012-01-28T11:57:34.938-08:00@Aida No, its not. I make it a point to visit Bombay whenever I'm in India. The peace that you experience while gazing at the boundless sea (Marine Drive) after a long noisy day (ti-ti-ti-ti :P) is unmatchable. There is never nothing happening in Bombay - you glance at the faces of the child beggars at the traffic junctions, at the focussed and dreamy eyes of thousands of young boys and girls who visit the city each day to realise their Bolly dreams, at the wrinkled yet wise foreheads of the dhobis at the Dhobhi ghat - and you hear whispery tales of so many untold stories.
India, and particularly Mumbai is a must visit place for anyone interested in exploring the idea of 'peace within chaos.' :)Nivedita Gandhihttps://twitter.com/#!/GandhiNeevnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6064639723767772552.post-9370293752741603552011-11-20T08:29:13.547-08:002011-11-20T08:29:13.547-08:00Ha!If 36 didn't feel hot, why is everything ai...Ha!If 36 didn't feel hot, why is everything air-conditoned, then! :P lol
We'll see, never say never, and my curiousity may just get the better of me, but till then I'll enjoy your travel reports :)Calenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15007042981707131796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6064639723767772552.post-925153026814601812011-11-17T04:28:40.127-08:002011-11-17T04:28:40.127-08:00that initial shock apart, i loved the post. u seem...that initial shock apart, i loved the post. u seemed to have 'lived' every moment of your travel to the maximum city. and i'm so glad for you, hope to have you visiting Delhi soon :)delhidreamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04613041484425960760noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6064639723767772552.post-30167386826218569432011-11-17T04:26:38.411-08:002011-11-17T04:26:38.411-08:00@Adee As you can see time was short and I barely t...@Adee As you can see time was short and I barely touched Mumbai...
